Faculty of Polish Studies

Faculty of Polish Studies in one of the twenty-four Faculties of the University of Warsaw. It conducts research and teaches literary studies, cultural studies and linguistics in Polish, Slavic, Hellenic, Latin and Baltic studies.

Some of the most important professors were Samuel Bogumił Linde, Jan Baudouin de Courtenay, Stanisław Szober, Witold Doroszewski, Juliusz Kleiner, Wacław Borowy, and Julian Krzyżanowski. Some of the most known graduates: Wojciech Młynarski, Magda Umer, Jacek Kaczmarski, and Muniek Staszczyk.

Nowadays Faculty of Polish Studies of the University of Warsaw is one of the biggest philological faculties in Poland. It offers its students 9 subjects:
